This was taken from the driveway of the San Remo where I stayed in Las Vegas (Now Hooters Hotel and Casino). The MGM grand is down one end of the strip and is the starting point of the new main monorail.
They have a lion enclosure where you can go through a glass tunnel and the lions can sit on top where you can see them.
