damn I just tried to take a pic of the moon tonight and it didnt come out anywhere near that nice. what the heck - you guys rock!
wendi... you never cease to amaze me. maybe i should have gone outside to see this instead of locking myself up in the church for 2-1/2 hrs :) hope ultimate was fun.

Reminds me that I'll have to have a look at the moon tomorrow, hope to get a great shot too. Would make an interesting topic for a Theme day to have us all take a pic of the full moon on the same day. You'd need to adjust the date though. Might not fall on a 1st of the month before another years...

I still think your moon shot is the best I've seen for a nonprofessional website - but you know how I like a clean fun competition so I went out tonight again for another attempt and tonight was a good night because the moon was closest to the hawaiian islands due to its orbit location relative to the earth - I posted the pics here and will let you choose one of the three to post for my next photo blog ;)
