Red Rocks

Las Vegas and Clark County in general has a lot of Sandstone, either West of the Vegas Valley or over to the Logandale/Overton area you will find beautiful red rocks. They are so completely Ideal for rock climbing, bouldering, repelling and hiking. Just be careful in these summer months, its too hot, drink lots of water!! -Erinn ;)

I like your photographs but I wouldn't like to be up there hanging on a rope. I would rather jump out of an airplane.

This is the second episode of the Robin feeding the babies. Mom had her head down a throat today.

What is that first photo of? It looks really neat.

Looks like a good place to do some four wheeling.

Nice red rock photo. I like the color.

The rock climbers look like they have nothing to sink their picks into. I'm not sure I'd want to do that.

The first photo is just of red rocks in the area, lots of diverse shapes and sizes everywhere, I choose these because of their unusual formation.

Thanks for the comments guys! The anchor on the rock was just in front of the repellors, but there is an edge to this rock that requires some careful manuvering before taking the fall. Its a very fun experience and not as frightening as I thought it would be! :)
