We actually recieved some rain last weekend! That means prime hiking! We went out to Red Rock Park and enjoyed the runoff! Beautiful cool day!Wendi

Beautiful photograph of a wonderful place.
I have always thought of flashing lights and city streets when I thought of Las Vegas. Nice to see the less urban side of the area.

i did this same hike about a month ago (while it was still 100deg doh!) but it was a fun little hike to see the little pools of water. i'm sure it would be a lot better with more water in the creek bed.

This place looks gorgeous... you will have to let me know where it is... I just love Vegas...
Las Vegas is a newly reinvented honeymoon destination. Once mostly casinos and strip bars, the city now boasts some amazing celebrity-frequented dance clubs, four-star restaurants headed by the country's most well-known chefs, and spectacular shows such as Cirque du Soleil. While the city boasts its own Eiffel Tower, Statue of Liberty, Sphinx and Pyramid, don't come here looking for fine-art museums or high culture.
Instead, celebrate the kitsch with a visit to the Liberace museum, a turn at the slots, a cheesy floor show, or the thrill of riding a rollercoaster inside your hotel.
