We went up to Mt. Charleston and watched the meteor shower which peaks now until November 24th. I had to try to take some pictures of the sky. It's amazing how much the sky moves in a 4 minute exposure or should I say how much we move! -Wendi
Kala- It's called I put it on a tripod, changed the setting and held the shutter open with my finger on the button for 4 minutes... not the easiest way to do it! ;) I would prefer to just change the settings! Wendi

Very cool photo! I love the sky, of course, and contrasted with the dark silhouetted tree, it makes for a great shot!
Very Eerie......love it!
Great shot, wish I could have seen this.
What a unique and special shot for a daily photo blog! Something I doubt to see here in Paris! Fireworks maybe, but not a meteor shower!
how do you do a four minute exposure? I guess i don't know how to do that on my camera - thats pretty neat - i would try that if i knew how.
