Navajo Rugs

Our trip proceeded onward to Pinon, Arizona, which is situated in the Navajo Reservation. On our way there we stopped to look at an old trading post on the reservation. There were hundreds of hand made Navajo rugs that were beautifully made. I couldn't help but stop and admire the many different patterns and colors. - Wendi

Navajo indians - I did research paper on them for my class when I was like 12 years old - from what I can recall, they are a very peaceful group of indians -unlike the Apache or Cherokee - the rugs look beautiful.

Everyome who sees them, wants them. I have a book about Navajo rugs that I frequently flip through longingly. m You did a great job with the photograph. Any closeups?
